In terms of looks, the design is somewhat dated now, as this model has been around for a good while.
The P600s is a stealthy case with attitude. There are angles and vents in all the right places, making this look very futuristic. At first appearances, the front looks as though it is all one solid panel, with an angular grill towards the top and ventilation gaps at either side. The design is flawless but what is most impressive about the Phanteks P600s is its modularity and ability to transform from one configuration to another. But with room for a graphics card of up to 14 inches (360 mm) in length, this case will easily cope with any GPU. There's also space for two 2.5-inch and two 3.5-inch drives, plus a whole host of radiator and fan configurations.
Overview
If you're after something that's giving you a head start with setting up internal lighting, then this is an ideal choice. NZXT's latest smart case looks gorgeous and now comes with a faster microprocessor for its CAM software-powered Smart Device, which utilizes machine learning to find the perfect point between noise and performance for fans – it also controls the integrated RGB lighting.
If the Thermaltake Core V1 is too small for your needs, then the Corsair Carbide 275R is the next best choice. Somewhat old school in terms of design, especially regarding thermal performance, there's lots of room inside to fit big graphics cards, up to four 2.5-inch drives, and three closed-loop cooling systems.
If looks are less important than the case's practical aspects, then the Corsair 7000D Airflow is a great choice. With room for up to 10 storage drives and a 17-inch (450 mm) graphics card, this case offers lots of scope for multiple closed-loop radiators. Like the front of the case, you have a second magnetically attached panel with a fabric mesh underneath. The top panel also includes the same sound dampening form to ensure silent operation when the top panel is left on.
In keeping with a mostly clean front fascia, the P600s hides its user-facing I/O behind a flip-up panel. Present are two USB 3 ports, a USB-C port, separate headphone, and microphone ports, and the reset button. The power button however is located on the top of the case as seen below. Case Front and RearAs you would expect, the top panel can hold either a 360mm or 280mm radiator. It is the front panel that defies expectation, able to mount up to a 420mm radiator. This paves the way for impressive custom water-cooling loops! This spacious ATX mid-tower case has incredible flexibility when it comes to the hardware you can install. There is clearance for GPUs up to 435mm long, which covers most models available right now. Motherboard form factors are supported all the way up to E-ATX, provided they are 280mm wide. Plus, the power supply can be a maximum of 314mm long, depending on how many HDDs you have and where they are placed.
The Outside
There's an RTX 3070 and a bunch of 2.5" SSDs and NVMe SSDs that will move to this build from my current one. The front of the P600S comes with two pre-installed premium 140mm fans but does have room for a third. This also gives you the option to install up to a 420mm radiator in the front of the case.
