The MDZS audio drama, or 广播剧, is a spellbinding, captivating adaptation of the original novel by Mo Xian Tong Xiu, produced by Polar Penguin Studios and released in June 2018. The drama is closely based on the original novel and its production was supervised by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu herself. It consists of ** three seasons** , with numerous additional “bonus” chapters and snippets featuring a rotating cast of characters. Production for the drama lasted a little over two years, and after that the project was announced in early 2018, with filming ending in August of the same year.
