About this deal

Moon Knight is hands down the best minifigure of Marvel Series 2 and a strong contender for Minifigure of the Year. Moon Knight’s elaborate mummy-esque details are rendered amazingly across every single surface and it’s been a while since I’ve had a Collectible Minifigure make me go, wow! So CMF gets a certain budget to create new molds, and that is not available for the general design teams to borrow from. The good news is that by spreading out production worldwide, those new CMF elements do tend to become instantly available to other themes, where before you had to pitch them like a completely new design, since they’d basically have to cut a new mold for non-Chinese production. Not every CMF element will show up in other themes, but hopefully under the new arrangement there’s some crosstalk to make sure they don’t miss any opportunities to turn a single-use design into something that can be reused long-term. Even if it means listening to people whinge about the baby croc-o-gator not having Loki horns. If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that my positition on this has been clear, I do not support the switch to pure blind boxes, as it encourages gambling, and the uncertainty of what you will get, something that most people can’t afford to do. LEGO could’ve easily included some hidden code or symbol on each box to identify what’s inside, but their unwillingness to do so just reeks of not listening to longtime fans and punishing Minifigure fans.

I haven’t watched Falcon and the Winter Soldier either. However, I would highly recommend finishing Loki! The finale basically sets up the next few phases of Marvel films and shows. I absolutely loved Wandavision. Vis is my favorite MCU character rn." Eagle-eyed Marvel fans will realise that this is a brand new Ant-Man statuette design that’s different to the original statuette, and also the one found in 76192 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle. Oh and each minifigure comes with these stands and stalks that allow you to pose the minifgiures in dramatic and dynamic styles. Marvel Minifigures Series 2 will release on 1 September (October in ANZ), and will feature 12 all-new characters inspired by Marvel Studios TV shows, from Hawkeye to She-Hulk to Moon Knight and the upcoming X-Men 97 series. Each mystery bag contains 1 minifigure with at least 1 highly detailed accessory and a collector’s leaflet; build your collection, display and play!

Do note that there might be some variances with weight due to differences in the cardboard box, so if it’s off by a few milligrams, that’s usually fine. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great Wolverine minifigure, probably the best one that LEGO has ever produced. But with Wolverine recently making an appearance in a Mech Armour, it feels a bit like a wasted slot in a 12-character series, where more obscure characters that might not have the opportunity to show up in regular sets should have been given the time to shine. I also agree with the face complaints. Wanda and Sylvie look weird with their smiles. I hope Sylvie has a more in character expression. Wanda's smile doesn't bother me as much though since she smiles in the show. It is disappointing they gave her a smile with the red eyes. I’m not particularly attached to the Werewolf by Night series, but quality-wise this is a pretty good minifigure, even if its a little boring and formulaic. But hey, with Halloween approaching, it does make for a fun addition for those that like to collect Spooky-themed minifigures.

Collectable Minifigures have consistently exhibited increasing complexity and detail, including more dual-moulded pieces with growing intricacy. However, 71031 Marvel Studios Collectable Minifigures establishes a new exceptional standard! Almost every minifigure benefits from dual-moulding, arm printing or printing on the sides of both legs, which was historically reserved for fewer chosen characters. Now all that’s done, let’s jump straight into the LEGO Marvel Minifigures Series 2 review! 1. Agatha Harkness Yes, it is blue when Monica deploys it. But when Wanda finds it, it resembles a vintage toy helicopter and is very red. And I think that is the item that most people remember from the show. LEGO Marvel Minifigures Series 2 71039 Complete Collection of 12 LEGO Minifigures – 12 different Minifigures GuaranteedHere’s Moon Knight and Mr. Knight together and they look great as a pair. I do think iy would’ve been way better if we had Scarlet Scarab included as well with how prominent she was in the TV series, and how cool her character design is. Here’s a comparison with an adult LEGO owl. The Baby Owl is a nice surprise and it’s great to see LEGO still using the Collectible LEGO Minifigures series to introduce new animal moulds. Kate Bishop’s outfit is fantastic with the LEGO designers making great use of colours and subtle use of side leg printing and arm printing to enhance the screen-accuracy of her minifigure. The She-Hulk minifigure features highly detailed prints of her TV-show suit, and I really like what they’ve done with the leg printing.
