In the gaming emulation department, I tested a few PSX games and they performed a little better thanks to the 4GB of RAM, but some N64 ones still stutter like Mario Power Tennis, not sure if the emulator needs to be improved to take advantage of the amount of RAM or if it's something else. It seems to use a kind of signature (or just its serial number) to detect if it is a genuine Dune unit allowing to install the Dune App on it. A network connection is therefore essential for the initial Dune APP installation.The DV FEL support on RTD1619DR does not process the EL 10-bit to 12-bit enhancement. Practical video analysis show this is hardly visible in practice. So how big that omission really is? AmLogic S905X4 claims to support this in full. I can't see it myself but maybe somebody can confirm or deny?
