About this deal

Dakota often says she survived her first publishing with coffee and wine. She's an unabashed Star Wars fanatic and still dreams of one day getting her letter from Hogwarts. She enjoys spending time with her super-supportive husband, her two witty kids, her spoiled rotten dogs, and her chubby cat. During the summer months, she can often be found taking pictures of random things or soaking up the sun on the Great Lakes with her family. But, as much as this book asks some of the deeper questions of life...it's also entertaining as all get out. There were so many twists and turns in Heart Of Stone that I wondered a time or two if even James Rubart, Susan May Warren, and David Curtis Warren could possibly bring it all around to the ending I wanted and one Rem could live with. I loved seeing all of the various threads from each of Rem's time travel timelines in the previous books finally come together in one, slightly gritty, and riveting conclusion.

This book. I don't often use the word "weep," but this book made me weep. It's intense and it's fulfilling and it totally got me.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters are each holding secrets that prevent them from looking for a full committed relationship. However, once Alex and Krystina begin their arrangement the chemistry between them is too much to ignore and they begin to sink into a deeper intimacy. an unerring focus on what makes two people come to love each other - the way the book draws out the relationship between Henry and Theophilus is excruciatingly beautiful Goodness, where to begin? This series vastly outperformed even my wildest expectations and this final installment couldn't have been more perfectly written. 2021 has been a wonderful year full of unforgettable books and The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone Series is hands down my favorite of the year. Days, weeks and months were counted down until the next hit...erm, installment. Countless conversations had amongst fellow fans, speculating just how the author would wrap up Rembrandt's adventures in this last book. Breen, Nadia (May 20, 2022). This is a lovely, slow, gentle mlm romance between a centuries-old vampire and his young-ish human secretary. There's no great drama, just a slow unfolding of them getting to know each other, coming to care for each other, and in the end finally letting each other know that. Verrrrrrrry slow burn. Both parties are neurodivergent (one ADHD, one autistic), and that rep is very well done (both of those divergences are represented in my own family). These two very different men slowly get to know and appreciate each other's minds (they think of the differences in terms of temperament, since this is set in the 18th century). Lots of emotions and drama as the story unfolds again and again over the series of books. I liked the main characters Stone and Eve as their relationship progresses and changes. Good, clean Christian fiction series-highly recommend! But the best part of this book is really its character work, and especially surrounding our protagonists, Henry Coffey and his secretary Theophilus Essex. Finally, we have a romance novel that isn't just about insta-love or insta-lust. We have time to get to know our protagonists slowly but engagingly. We see their initial relationship, the coldness and austerity of Theophilus contrasted against the bouncing cheerfulness of Henry, and we're there on the journey as the ice between them thaws. I’ve taken a few days off before writing my final review on this book because I just had to gather all of my thoughts together. Development began in December 2020, when Gadot signed on to star. Harper and Netflix were confirmed to serve as director and distributor respectively the following month, with the rest of the cast being confirmed in early 2022. Filming took place in Europe from January to July of that year.

Watch Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan and Alia Bhatt surprise fans at the Tudum: Global Fan Event in Brazil:

Gal Gadot is taking action to new heights this summer — literally. In the trailer for Heart of Stone, first introduced by the cast at the Tudum: Global Fan Event in Brazil, you can see the star and producer parachuting off a snowy cliff and fighting thousands of feet up in the air. I thought I knew the man I committed myself to, but more questions continue to arise. I don’t know if Alexander is who he says he is. I loved the autistic rep especially because well, I'm autistic, and Theophilus Essex is definitely my favourite character of the book (special mention to Ambrose the chaotic trans bastard child, I loved him too). Theophilus' character arc was just immaculate tbh, his dealing with internalized homopphobia, and deciding to open up to Henry, and the whole I'm-not-so-secretely-drawing-monster-porn-of-my-employer thing was also extremely fun to me lol. He's just such a good character, and I loved how he didn't fall into the innocent naive autistic character even if you could somewhat read him that way at the beginning. He's just!!! Good!!!
