Users had a lot to like about the Dolphin. They were impressed by the full automation of the device. On top of that, they loved the Dolphin’s ability to climb walls easily and sweep them clean. You’d think it needs wheels for that, but it actually relies fully on the rear brushes. In terms of design, we appreciated that this option was more lightweight than the pool cleaner we were using previously. It was also quiet while it was in use, and we liked that it stopped moving when it was done cleaning. This pool cleaner features a chamber filter bag that fills with debris while it cleans. It hangs outside of the unit, so it’s easy to see when it needs to be cleaned and remove it when necessary. A second problem is that the two corners on the left side of the plastic housing scrape against the pool walls and stairs, leaving dark brown streaks on the plaster that are difficult to remove even with a wire brush. This abrasion is also wearing the housing down. I have started placing white waterproof adhesive tape on these corners prior to each use, which somewhat reduces the abrasive effects. It's annoying to have to do this. The right side corners do have rubber bumpers attached that prevent their scraping the wall. I suspect this may be because it tends to use its right side against the coping when cleaning the tiles. I don't see why the left side should not have similar bumpers.
The cleaner has a brush on the front that'll work to scrub grime. After the cleaning cycle is finished, you'll appreciate the three-liter canister that has a transparent top, so you'll be able to tell when it needs to be emptied. We did note that we would have preferred a more clear indicator that the cleaning cycle was complete, as opposed to the small red light that turns off. In our opinion, you can’t do better than this top-rated robotic pool cleaner from Dolphin. It’s a powerful, easy-to-use device that’ll have your pool looking amazingly fresh in just two hours’ time, and it works in pools of all shapes and surface types. Just plug in the robot, drop it in the water, turn on the power, and it’ll start cleaning immediately. It's worth noting that the VRX iQ+ is more expensive than other options, and it may not be ideal for every pool. Although it was effective, we felt that it was ideal for larger pools that may require professional cleaning.

Overall, we’d say that this particular model represents a good investment for buyers. Just wanted to update on how the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner has been working so far. This morning was the first time I hade to vacuum the pool manually. There were 2 corners, 1 edge of the ramp to the dee[ end and the stairs that the robot missed.....that's it. All told I spent 10 minutes cleaning up where the robot missed and my pool is spotless! This is awesome and not a complaint!
General set-up and operation
Setting up this pool cleaner took about 45 minutes, which was longer than expected. The included instructions were a bit vague, so we did our own online research to assemble it. Once it was together, we were impressed with how well it was able to clean our pool. When it comes to this pool cleaner, we noted that the controller had additional buttons and functions that were not applicable to this specific model, like Bluetooth capabilities. Overall, however, we would recommend the cleaner. When selecting a pool cleaner, one of the most important criteria to consider is power and how that translates to an optimal suction rate.
