About this deal

The 15kg maximum limit will last families up to three or four years, but the seats are also deep enough to accommodate taller children. Our tester's eldest particularly liked the adjustable calf rest. To test this stroller, we considered a number of different attributes like weight, design, durability, portability, maneuverability, and how easy it is to fold. We tested it alongside competitors in our lab, and used it at-home over the course of three months to gain real-world insight. We first recorded things like weight and measurement, then ran the stroller through a number of tests to determine its overall functionality and performance. Both the pram and seats come with a UV50+ canopy to prevent any arguments between children. They are extendable, giving decent coverage, and come with pop-out sun visors for extra protection as well a mesh peek-a-boo windows. Is there a rain cover? There are many travel strollers and sometimes it can be difficult to distinguish between different models. But the Diono Traverze stands out even on first impression, with a chassis shaped rather like a lightning flash, part of which forms a built-in armrest. Built-in handle so the Traverze can be pulled like a suitcase Belly Bar care: Please do not lift your stroller by the belly bar. It is not designed for this use and may break with too much force applied. Use the easy-fold, fabric handle in the seat to fold, lift, and carry the stroller.

Harness care: Surface wash with a damp cloth using warm water and mild soap; air dry. Do not machine wash harness or immerse in water, as doing so may weaken the straps. The buggy comes with two forward-facing seats that can be used for twins or children of different ages. The City Tour 2 Double can hold up to 5kg of storage, which is adequate enough for a day out with two children – fitting a bag of shopping, rain cover and changing bag. The basket, with mesh sides, is located under the pram’s seats.

What’s in the box?

The shopping basket is quite spacious, given the size of the Libelle, and can hold a smaller changing bag. Cybex should be commended for the positioning of the foot brake, which is level with the top edge of the basket. This design leaves a good amount of room for the person pushing the stroller, without the risk of the brake being accidentally applied. The Libelle has two separate handles and requires both hands to make it comfortable to push. But you can also push it with one hand on the bar between the handles. Shortcomings offset by the compactness of the stroller With their City Tour 2, Baby Jogger have succeeded amazingly well at implementing all the updates customers requested for its predecessor, the City Tour. The seat unit is more spacious, the handle is higher and a bit more sturdy and the adjustable footrest too – and what’s virtually a full lying position means your child can sleep much more comfortably as well.

The small, light Aer travel stroller completes the Joolz range of stroller models. The Joolz Aer is a fixed, forward-facing stroller. The seat unit has no adjustable footrest, but you can buy one separately. However, it does have a built-in footrest on the front of the chassis. For days when you’re laden down with bags and need to free up some basket space, we found the pram nice and steady with a changing bag on the handlebar. However, this won't work when the seats are reclined. Is the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double easy to clean? The Best Travel Strollers That Are Actually Easy to Fold and Carry—We Tested Them Ourselves Who It’s For

What's it like to look at?

Seat pad care: Seat fabric and pads may be machine washed separately in cold water on a delicate cycle. Please refer to the care tag on your seat pad for more detailed washing instructions. The City Tour 2 Double is light compared to the other double buggies, such as the Thule Urban Glide 2 Double (15.5kg), and can be carried using the frame or seat straps. When unfolded, Liz could just about manage to carry it up and down stairs with the carrycot attached. As the pram is suitable for newborns and can hold up to two carrycots, we also tested it with two large bags of sugar in place of a second baby. The weight was evenly distributed across the buggy, even with a changing bag hanging on the handlebar. What about the brakes? By the end of the week-long testing period, there were no stains left behind and the frame looked as good as new, but the wheels were a bit pitted. We’re not sure if they would last the four years they'd need to. What's it like to look at? Being able to take a travel stroller as carry-on baggage on a plane is a function that many parents find very important. In particular, if you’re going to be making a stopover, it can be useful to have a mobile resting place for your child. However, many strollers are too big for airlines to accept them onboard. The Cybex Libelle is one of the few exceptions.

Being so slimline, the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double has a really compact Z-shape fold, however our tester wasn’t all that impressed. The bassinet attaches to the pram with connecters and has been approved for overnight sleeping when removed from the frame. It also comes with a mattress cover. What about the harness? To unfolding the Butterfly, press the buttons on the handle in the same way and just pull up the stroller. With a little force in your motion, Butterfly pops out in a second and is ready to start rolling. The padded carrying strap makes it easy to carry in a folded position. Bugaboo Butterfly is small enough to carry on the plane as hand luggage when flying with many airlines. This is a coveted feature for travel strollers, and it makes the seat’s spaciousness even more impressive. Easy-roll travel stroller with a spacious storage basket A stroller really can’t be smaller when folded than the Libelle, which more than fits IATA’s recommended maximum dimensions for hand luggage (56 x 45 x 25 cm). It’s also very easy to fold. Press the white buttons on the handles and squeeze the stroller downwards and forwards. Once it’s folded, you fold the wheels inwards, and suddenly the Libelle is small enough to fit into a bicycle basket. Travel stroller with reclining position and adjustable footrestOur tester used it to take her daughter to nursery, to go to a café and on dog walks. She loved that she could strap her children into the buggy inside her house, which wasn’t possible with all of the prams she tested. Our tester wasn’t keen on the small wheels, but this is one of the things that makes the pram so compact. Is the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double good value for money?

It took us just less than 10 minutes to assemble the City Tour 2 Double, which involved opening the frame, attaching the four wheels and apron, and adjusting the straps and hood. We also tested the carrycot. What’s in the box? The Baby Jogger City Tour 2 is ready for travel and ready for newborns with a near-flat recline for nap time, adjustable calf support to support children's legs as they grow, and new colours that give the stroller a more sophisticated look. Removing the seat covers was time-consuming and fiddly, but when juice was spilled during testing, it beaded up well and easily wiped away with a damp cloth. Liz found that mud on the frame and seat was just as easy to clean off. The carrycot and mattress covers can also be removed for machine washing. The Baby Jogger City Mini 2 Double is perfect for getting around town with two young children and, measuring a slimline 66.5cm wide, will fit through most doorways. If you then lift the cover at the footrest, you’ll find a pull-out handle beneath. With this you can pull the Diono Traverze behind you, just like a suitcase. The stroller also comes with a transport bag, which has useful holes for the wheels. This way you can pull the Traverze behind you through the airport with the bag on. Clever basket that can be expanded with fold-out edges The manual has clear diagrams and written instructions showing you how to assemble the City Tour 2 Double and make use of its features. The footrest can be folded down for children with longer legs. When the child needs to sleep, or for babies who need more support, the footrest can easily be set upright. This means the City Tour 2 works really well from six months up to at least 4-5 years of age.
