Though now that I think about it, I feel like Volume Alpha might be a love record to Europe, while Beta is dedicated to America and Asia. And with “Dreiton”, the are essentially only two sections on a song that clocks in at over 8 minutes.

The release garnered attention from proper music critics and the gaming community alike, becoming one of the most sought after records in the Ghostly catalog.On the track, the start of the music disc can be heard, but this is then interrupted by a record scratching sound; the track then switches to a calm piano piece not found in the game. My copy has pops playing during some moments of The End, it took me until today to realise that they are not present in digital version (apart from the last minute of the track). After building up the drone, the song breaks, as if some sort of audio device couldn’t handle it anymore. As others have said, it makes sense for this release to have a bit of noise but it gets bad occasionally. otherwise my pressing is pretty solid, though i’m certainly taking some point off for the problems i had. On some vinyl pressings, lenticular printing is used to give depth to the blocks in the image and highlight the inner grass block. I do love minimalism and achieving tones with just very few notes, and I think this song does that extremely well. Blind Spots” is the first song I wrote with the clear intention of having a unique soundtrack for Minecraft’s “creative mode”. I tried to create a piece that doesn’t particularly change much, but keeps reiterating on itself, like a constant remixing of its core theme.
