I can use the bike on full power for 8 miles on the lightest of gears meaning no work at all if needed, I have not pushed it further like that but it gets me to work up some prity steep hills in 30 mins, I charge the bike at work and have not pushed the battery harder without gearing up and putting a little effort into things but i know I can do 16 miles no problem even as I am recovering from a broken hip. I also think that when it registers that you are going a certain speed, it will actually slow the bike down.
