Eau de Parfum contains between seven to fourteen per cent of fragrance oils and perfume elixirs and is the second strongest, and longest lasting means of wearing a fine fragrance. I am hoping for a little more cedar and vanilla in the dry down, but overall a very pretty and easy daytime scent. The scent opens with top notes of Yellow Freesia, Mandarin, Grapefruit, Nectarine and Solar Salicylates, middle notes are Jasmine, Muguet, Orange Flower and Mirabelle. A good long lasting spray on me and I can still detect it in the evening on my skin, ifrom spraying it on in the morning. The mandarin orange and grapefruit keep the opening from hitting you in the face like a blast of sugar.

Next come the fantasy solar notes; not exactly sure what they are, but they add a cheeriness to this. When this scent came out a few years ago, I received a sample rollerball and immediately fell in love and bought a giant bottle. I love the bottle I’m a sucker for gold bottles lately and it smells like the name suggests, like nectar, but after a while I was going out of my mind trying to figure out what perfume it reminded me of. Upon initial spray it is bright and hypnotising (fruity notes), but it settles into a very smooth vanilla woodsy skin scent.I had been looking for a replacement for Marc Jacobs "Honey" which is one of my favourites, but sadly discontinued. The florals are clean and bright, the citruses zesty, and the beeswax brings it all together like "your skin but better. It really is just lovely and it lasts really well I'm surprised I actually like it because I only really enjoy Cashmere mist from Donna Karan. To me it smells gentle, and floral and just a bit different than your usual inoffensive floral perfume. There's a sharp note in the opening, probably the "solar notes" and I really came to realise I dislike mirabelle as a perfume note. I agree with others below stating that it's too sweet, it has a syrupy quality, and it's almost like. Her iconic silhouettes and innovative system of dressing remain as relevant as ever, now reimagined in a modern-day Donna Karan New York and its next-generation counterpart, DKNY.

After this the drydown on my skin becomes a bit more deep and muted with the cedar, musk and vanilla coming through and the chamomile disappearing (a little of the honey remains). Below you can see the longest potential duration for storage on a device, as set when using the cookie method of storage and if there are any other methods used. And this is coming from someone who enjoys super sweet scents like Jessica Simpson Fancy and Ariana Grande Ari. While sillage is not great unless you really douse yourself in it, the longevity is pretty fantastic. It almost smells like cheap hairspray, which disappoints me, but if you can get past that it's a decent fragrance.

Although Nectar Love is a fair departure from DKNY's usual base concoctions, dry down is the stage when I can't help relate it to her "Be Delicious" collection (that tangy, green apple part). It's quite ageless, I got away with it, but so did my 50+ mom on whose skin it sat perfectly as well. The heart is where juicy Mirabelle plum glistens against soft Jasmine and dewy Lily-of-the-Valley and that Honey note. But that being said, if I can’t appreciate a fragrance for myself, I can appreciate how it may work for others. It is definitely heavy on the beeswax and honey, but with the mirabelle and vanilla, it cools down to a lukewarm, super comforting beeswax. This often creates a smooth and round texture, which is hard to achieve with the dilution represented in the other concentrations of fragrance.
