I went through the blisters in the first couple of weeks, then I got tendonitis in my shin and ended up 500 miles in sobbing in a gas station to a lady was hugging me saying it'll be okay. I was very much looking forward to reading this, as I very much enjoyed Phil’s debut book “ Keep on Running“, charting his own personal journey from couch potato to marathon runner. Then when I came home, I talked about running across America so much that a friend of mine just said 'are you actually going to do it this time or just talk about it?
