The charging unit clips onto the three silver prongs, and there’s a LED bulb which turns red to let you know it’s charging, and the red light turns off once the hot water bottle has reached the top temperature and you just simply remove it from the hot water bottle and turn the cap to cover the metal prongs.
I get a lot of headaches, and earaches so I wanted a heat pad/hot water bottle which I could use easily for my face and head. You put it on charge for around 10 minutes and a light on the charger goes off once it is heated up. Since then I have only had to charge it the once, I then give it a jiggle and it feels as hot as a normal hot water bottle and lasts for hours. I use a hot water bottle every day, since my last surgery I am in pain every day and heat on my stomach is really helpful with pain relief. Will usually dispatch within same working day if paid before 14:00 GMT (excludes weekends and holidays). The hot water bottle I bought which had a cord, was the Sweet Dreams Heat Pad, and as it was corded I was really restricted. Featuring a detachable power lead, so the electric hot water bottle can be used as any hot water bottle or heat pack would. This electric hot water bottle from Bauer Professional provides a safe and easy alternative to the traditional hot water bottle.
I would recommend this product if you’re a hot water bottle fan and would go as far as to say that it would be a great present for someone with chronic pain this Christmas! I love the easy plug in that most people would be able to manage alone even if you have poor mobility.
I like that it’s a relatively compact size, and as it’s cable-less you can use it wherever you want.
