No idea if this will help anybody but I wanted to post because I was looking for a solution to a problem that effects clumsy people like me. They enter quite deeply into the ear canal but don’t exert too much pressure, so they shouldn't be too annoying to wear for long periods of time. This app allows you to equalize your headset’s sound signature, so if the baked-in sound isn’t your favorite, you’re not stuck with it. To offset this effect the Anker Soundcore Spirit Dot 2 earbuds have a nice bump in the low end, masking bass notes sound a little louder than usual. They have excellent noise cancellation from the wind, and great sound quality and volume unlike when using my AirPods.I can achieve a secure fit within the ear to wear the earbuds for a long time without them becoming uncomfortable. This is good if you’re like me and tend to run in public areas where you might need to be aware of your surroundings, but it’s not great for sound quality.

The adjustability both in ear bud sizes as well as the rubber wing tips means they will be comfortable and stay securely in for almost anyone.They come with multiple sizes of ear tips, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for different ear shapes and sizes. The charging case for the Life Dot 2 earbuds is pretty hefty and has some weight to it as it provides a total of 100 hours of listening before needing to be plugged in – but I’ll get onto the battery specifics later on during the review. While don't currently test for that, they should have enough battery life to get you through a couple of long trips if you put them back in their case to charge every once in a while. The Samsung offer a more comfortable, stable fit, a better-balanced sound profile with EQ presets in their companion app, as well as a longer battery life off of a single charge. The sound quality is amazing and what I really like is the amount of bass which is just perfect and gives a nice kick to all your thumping music which is great.

The microphone quality of the earbuds is good, my voice was picked up to a decent volume and sounded clear. So there is always an extra rearranging step to get them in properly, and if I don’t do it they might not charge properly. The L/R drivers are also very well-matched in frequency, amplitude, and phase response, so objects like instruments and voices are accurately placed in the stereo image. In regular language, this means that these earbuds have passed the official IP test of being submerged in one meter of water for a total of 30 minutes. Once you find a good fit with the selection of ear tips and stability fins provided, they create a pretty tight seal and shouldn’t fall out, even during high-intensity workouts.
