The original Cedrat Boise is an Eau de Parfum concentration while Intense CB is an Extrait de Parfum concentration "also known as" Pure Parfum. I have over a 100 now not to brag but just to tell you I've had some little experience but I blind bought most and for a lot of them i took my time before i ended up absolutely loving them.

This perfume extract opens with a sharp, zesty burst of blackcurrant and citrus, Cedrat Boise quickly lays down a sexy heart of jasmine and patchouli beneath the lingering fruity freshness, remaining lively for hours before slowly melting into a sumptuous base of cedar, sandalwood, leather, and musky oakmoss. It is so fascinating to me how 2 people can smell one thing and have completely and utterly different views on how it smells. If you smell this too close to the skin it really comes off as smoky, but the sillage is where this fragrance shines. What I do think is happening is that this has the new atomiser that sprays a mist instead of a big blast in one spot, I believe that if you go heavier it lasts longer, but if that's not the case I will say so once I get it.It has a slightly better performance than the original watered down version, so there's a detectable improvement on this one at least to my nose.

As I am someone very sensitive to leather perfumes, the leather note in Cedrat Boise though toned down, really stood out to me. With that out the way, despite the hype around this fragrance, I don’t find it as enjoyable as others. These fluctuations really need you to tread with caution getting a bottle, may not satisfy some at all, and to them all the hype would come off as absurd. Now I am tempted to try the smokier batches of Aventus, or anything that listed as close to this such as Ani from Nishane (although the notes are in a diff realm).
