About this deal

Sanjay's boss, Raashi Khurrana is having an extra-marital affair with him, but refuses to leave her husband, Kashin, while Kareena is betrothed to Samuel and constantly held back from her dream of owning a home, by her mother Blossom. What ruined it for me was that she kept talking about how independent she was yet she complained about being single and how no one would love her or be with her for far too long and it got on my nerves.

But a change in circumstances sees her stepping into a new life in a new town, where the last thing she expects is to meet a remarkable man. The whole time he also had other women he was seeing (who just conveniently disappeared halfway through the story without explanation lmao). it's not the most groundbreaking rom-com I've read, but it's perfect if you want a lovely, easy read. Bro, you both clearly told each other you were FRIENDS repeatedly and you both were seeing other people and you KNEW the circumstances? But maybe I’m old school when it comes to love because Penny’s indecisiveness till the end about her choice and flirting with three men at the same time just a little irritated me and damaged my ideal romcom idea.I also think one of them was outright rude and an ass and the other started catching feelings for Penny and felt somewhat entitled to have them reciprocated.

And as someone who has not been through that kind of traumatic experience, it was interesting to learn how someone who is cancer-free feels after their victorious battle. If you’re looking for a uplifting and overall lovely book then this one is definitely for you - I loved it! i would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for an arc and i would like to thank my heart for staying away from anyone who would qualify as the male version of penny bridges. But I was irritated by her in the middle when she just kept falling into bed with all these men and the exhaustion she suffered from as a cancer survivor was pushed way out of the book. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. I unexpectedly found myself quite emotionally invested, in the life and relationships of Penny Bridge.

They were harsh with each other, they ignored each other, but they came back to each other because they were who they wanted to be with. I was impressed at how the book dealt with issues of infertility very sensitively, and the book also included great LGBTQ+ characters. Anand Tiwari who wrote the script in 2010, along with Sumeet Vyas, was intended to be made into a dark film, later they chose to make it as a romantic comedy film. This book might be one that you can either see as just another romance book but personally this might be one that I’ll be thinking about from time to time. Okay so I read this in the last eon or so and never reviewed it because – well, probably simply because it just wasn’t that great.Do you ever read something that leaves you feeling like it wasn’t a bad book, it just wasn’t for you? Its a wonder they took the guy in the first third I really liked and made him so unlikable without any acknowledgement whatsoever - apparently I was still meant to be rooting for them. I was glad to see that Williams included a non-binary character however I felt like there wasn't much to them at all which was disappointing.

This was quite enjoyable for the first third, less so in the second third and not good at all in the last third. Penny’s history has been challenging from an absentee father, the death of her mother from cancer and her subsequent battle with cancer herself. I tried so hard to like this because I was eager to read this one but, alas, it wasn't what I was hoping for and left me disappointed. Sorry but the audacity of Francesco to go on this massive shouting rant at Penny for no reason saying she’s messing with people’s emotions and she needs therapy and she’s heartless?

When the three men eventually meet in the closing chapters of the story, it is naturally very awkward and I found my toes curling at the atmosphere – I just wanted Penny to hurry up and make her mind up!
