About this deal

There is no form of digital input in the manner of the R41 PM (or the soundbars) which precludes easy use with a TV but, given the number of other options from Klipsch, this isn’t too surprising. Unlike the Klipsch The One II, it features Phono Pre-Amp and ground inputs so you can connect a turntable to the speaker. All Klipsch® Certified Factory Refurbished audio products pass the same strict performance standards as our brand-new products and carry little or no blemishes or imperfections. The Klipsch device has a “hi-fi” type of tonal balance — the low end is generous and the high-end extension is very brilliant and precise, while the midrange sounds slightly hollow. But things weren’t so hot at the other end of the spectrum; records sounded dull and lifeless in treble terms.

You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.

At the highest volumes, a room of 20m 2 was starting to struggle to cope with such high sound pressure. It proved almost impossible to achieve stable drop-out free playback with either TIDAL or Deezer and the results were entirely unsatisfying.

If you come across any other variants of this speaker, let us know in the discussions, and we'll update our review. While there are a few physical controls on the speaker itself, and there aren't any physical buttons you can use to play, pause or skip your tracks, this speaker comes with a simple remote control that you can use to control all of its functions; you can find a photo of it here. To make your upgrade hassle free, we can take back your older equipment in part exchange against the cost of new equipment. Indeed, the low- end can be a little overwhelming at times; it’s a pity that Klipsch didn’t include tone controls.Basslines, notably the electronic ones of the tracks that make up 808 State’s Transmission Suite album, sounded fulsome and warm.

The first important point to mention is that the loudspeaker is intended as a stationary device (it does not have a built-in battery). With award-winning acoustics and a striking mid-century modern design, the Klipsch Heritage Wireless Three II tabletop stereo speaker system can connect to almost anything, meaning you can bring your music to life from virtually any source - anywhere in your home.

What might be more of a nuisance though is the absence of a USB to charge a phone or tablet (or indeed, power some possible source components). The brand proudly boasts that the Three II is a “magnificent ” example of Mid-Century Modern design, and it is handsome, with a fabric wraparound grill, wood veneer at top and bottom, and nifty spun copper switches and knobs. Even elaborate musical arrangements using a multitude of instruments sound very clear and selective on Klipsch.
