About this deal

I’m also appreciative of just how light the JBL 760NC feels on my head at a mere 220 grams; I doubt anyone is going to be complaining about how much these weigh. Now, I’m less of a fan when it comes to the particularly cheap plastic we see throughout most of the housing. What you won’t find here is an ambient mode, one of the expected extras that often goes hand-in-hand with noise cancellation modes, simply because it means the headphone maker simply has to turn the mics on to let you hear the outside world as you listen to your music. Simply put, JBL’s Tune 760NC are basic noise cancelling headphones with pretty much zero nicety added on.

If its features such as included microphone sound attractive to you, then it may be worth looking into. This is mostly to be expected, but some headphones strike the balance regardless, and these did not. As a Harman offshoot, most of their tunings are somewhere around the Harman target, which is a happy, inoffensive medium for casual listeners and audiophiles alike. That’s one test that didn’t surprise us, with the headphones being very passive and much calmer when they were used without power. The plastic design is very much focused on plastic, with a hint of padding at the top, and the material combination essentially being matt and shiny plastic in different sections.Company registration number: 01402643) only offers products from Creation Consumer Finance, Klarna and Paypal Credit. The Live 660NC have slightly better neutral sound performance, with a more accurate bass that still adds punch and boom to your mixes.

To start with what I like, the synthetic leather that went into the earpads and the headband padding is pretty comfortable. You’ll find five buttons on the bottom, handing volume, playback, noise cancellation, and power, and a 2.br>
Punchy JBL Pure Bass sound
For over 70 years, JBL has engineered the impressive sound found in the biggest and best venues around the world. We’re fans of the slightly larger pads JBL has gone with here, and while they’re not necessarily as large or spacious as the pads on the Sony WH-1000XM4 or the Apple AirPods Max, they’re comfortable all the same. As the outstanding balance, plus the interest now form part of your payable balance they will attract interest at your account rate, meaning you will pay interest on interest. That starts with electronic, with a deep bass hit from Tycho’s “Glider” punching hard, showing you just what JBL’s “Pure Bass” is all about. I did get used to it pretty quickly as the ear pads have a decent, squishy consistency that does a adequately effective job in offsetting the headphone’s vice-like grip.

With no app support in the Tune 760NC, there’s no way of customising the type of cancellation, while the buttons just give you ANC on and ANC off, dealing with the outside in rather simplistic ways. Unfortunately, their latency is quite high with PCs, so your audio and visuals won't be in sync when streaming video. If the battery is empty and you don't have time to fully charge it, you can use the quick charge function. Granted, these aren’t as rare as they once were, but it’s still surprising to see JBL push something that isn’t quite a standard when 3.When it comes to fit, I have to admit I was pretty put off by the extreme clamp pressure coupled with the on-ear wear style when I first put the JBL Tune 760NC on my head. Depending on your listening habits, you may prefer either the JBL Live 500BT Wireless or the JBL Tune 760NC Wireless.

If you’d rather spread the cost over 36 months, you can set up a loan repayment plan when the payment-free period comes to an end at 19. The ANC helps to reduce some bass-heavy background noise, but you may still hear the rumble of bus and plane engines. The JBL TUNE 760NC Active Noise Cancelling technology lets you minimize audio distractions so you can tune out your surroundings . We've updated and renamed the following test groups: Wired Connection, Bluetooth Connection, and Wireless Connection (Dongle). For instance, listening to The Beatles, we were offered a fairly spacious soundstage where the percussion wasn’t lost to anything, while the bass guitar and drums had ever so slightly more grunt than the wailing guitar, with the vocals just matching nicely.Make sure that your computer has the latest Bluetooth driver (software) and should support the following Bluetooth protocols, A2DP and AVRCP. The Live are better-built, more stable, and more customizable thanks to their companion app that offers a parametric EQ and presets. If you have a non-BNPL balance, you will still need to make at least your minimum payment as shown on your statement. On the one hand, you get a pair of headphones that’s comfortable to wear and sounds great a good 90 percent of the time. Active noise cancellation keeps unnecessary distractions away, so you can focus on the things that matter to you for up to 35 hours with active noise cancellation.
