About this deal

saw the 250th anniversary of the founding of Hine Cognacs whose quality, refined through six generations, has been recognised the world over. A Fine Champagne blend of more than 25 Grande and Petite Champagne cognacs with an average age of approximately 10 year. On the nose, it is floral with notes of jasmine, acacia, iris, lily of the valley, apricot and vanilla. Founded in 1763, Hine Cognacs are highly regarded around the world for their quality and complexity – from the entry-level H By Hine to the prestige cuvée Talent.

In 1962 we were granted the Royal Warrant by Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II, making Hine the official supplier of cognac to the British monarchy. Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade. The house is one of the few to regularly release vintage Cognacs, aged in the cellar until they are ready for bottling.

Their expertise ensures that the original, delicate flavour from the grapes persists through the distilling, ageing and blending process. A The Cognac region in south-west France lies some 110km north of Bordeaux and 450km south-west of Paris. Our British founder, Thomas Hine, chose the emblematic stag to represent Hine, most likely because of the analogy between the words Hine and hind.
