I initially purchased thinking this would easily just fit onto the back of the existing TV bracket (which is VESA mounted, 55inch Samsung). Our Sky Q Mini Wall Bracket doesn't block the IR sensors on the Sky Mini Box, but you will still want to test your setup to determine the best mounting location. You will obviously need a TV large enough to hide the box behind with enough space around the wall bracket. It may be a little old fashioned for some but if you have multiple devices that are connecting to a wall mounted TV, why not just put the Sky box in a TV stand/cabinet?
