It's great to have found this band, which gives me some of the energy that I found in my early/mid teens, in the glory days of Arena Rock, but still has a contemporary feel, and knows how to deliver both the, "We're not just gonna' lie down and take this" attitude, as well as a bit of tenderness. The album starts out with Love Bites (So Do I), a song heavier than any off of the band’s debut album. United States, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, India, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Israel, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Vietnam. Lastly we get another tempo ballad in "Here's To Us" which is a nice way to close an enjoyable record, rather surprisingly this is the albums second single, which in my view is an odd choice as it isn't strong enough.

It’s been three years since the release of Halestorm’s debut in 2009 and this new album has been a long time coming! The Deluxe Edition is definitely the more complete experience since it boosts the running time from 41 minutes to 52. and gang vocals, both are songs perfectly targeted for a live show, in fact I’m air pointing right now just listening to them, so imagine how good they’d be in a live environment. I’m happy to say that it was well worth the wait as this album is exactly what I’ve been looking for this year; it covers it all, there’s balls out rock, there’s amazing ballads, modern rock songs and there’s balls out rock.

Last but not least is "Here's To Us"… This song was performed on "Glee" but they had to change the lyrics to be more appropriate for the show! The nice mix of songs and the perfect production would make this a good album, but the singing ability of Lzzy Hale makes this a superb album. One, two… one, two… one, two, three…” Arejay behind his drum paraphernalia sets the tone for “Love Bites (So Do I).So, if I didn’t already have a rock star crush on Lzzy, I totally would now ha ha, this album is one of my favourites of the year and I’m not sure what will come along that could topple it. The latter is the strongest of the three being superbly piano based and the former more of a tempo ballad, similar to "Better Sorry Than Safe" from their debut.
