Our laundry cleaners are made with safer ingredients and readily biodegradable formulas for a superior clean. Cumulatively, in terms of value for money (excellent), cleaning efficacy (so-so), and its ability to protect those with allergies (not so good), I have real mixed feelings about ECOS Laundry Detergent.
The sheets dissolve in the washing machine, consist of natural ingredients and come in plastic-free (and often even compostable) packaging, but we’re wondering whether they actually get the job done as well as our go-to liquid detergent. When non-biodegradable components in conventional detergents are rinsed away, they can linger in the environment for prolonged periods of time and cause soil and water contamination.

For those who want to stay as close to their go-to liquid detergents as possible, we’d recommend Blue Earth’s berry garden sheets for their scent.Clothing does not get really clean, unless very lightly used, even after adding the maximum amount, and there is no detectable smell after washing. However, as I’ve gotten older and become a much more eco-conscious individual, I’m willing to stretch my budget a little in the pursuit of earth friendly products. As with all detergent these estimates depend on how hard or soft your water is but if you're new to our laundry sheets you'll very quickly work out how many you need! It smelled pleasant, but note that it’s not entirely plant-based, should you be adversely affected by synthetic perfumes.
