Overall, I loved Zeno and Darla - especially Zeno's filthy ass mouth - and I would absolutely recommend this book if you're into moderately dark romance novels with an alpha male who falls hard and fast for you and would burn the entire world down for the love of his life. Here's my problem: there is OW drama from a woman that used to regularly sleep with him, but that meant nothing to the H. But I never looked away from the bewitching woman before me, who had played the role of a submissive so well, but also reminded me how good it felt to be owned. She’s definitely a strong and independent woman herself, who maybe for a while did lose herself and forgot how beautifully amazing she is, but i’m glad that Zeno was there to let her know she has a backbone and give her the strength to face her fears and stand up to everyone who had done her wrong in her life.

This series is full of alpha males, lots of steam, and each book is a standalone read that delivers.I've been all over her Wattpad even before her first book was published and if you wonder, yes I've read all of her work. But instead, it turned out to be these three things: heartbreaking, hard to read and a crazy emotional rollercoaster. Because I'm in love with Greek Mythology and Hades and Persephone being my most favorite couple, I loved it so freaking much whenever Zeno went like "My very own Persephone, My Wife, My Darla" I loved it so much! it was a little predictable from the beginning but then I thought maybe not, but the way to reveal it. The story starts off with Darla and Zeno meeting at a sex club and almost instantly they both feel something towards each other, not quite love at first say per-say but something more on the lines of an unexplainable attraction.

I just want to start off by saying that i had the pleasure of getting an early ARC of this book and i can quite honestly say that it was most definitely one of my most favourite five star reads this year! Due to the fact the hero meets the heroine in a BDSM SEX CLUB (don’t care that she was a virgin, I don’t want my heroines wallowing in a sewer) AND there’s waaaayyyyy too much info on hero’s past with OW who he used to fuck at the sex club, apparently without a condom because he got her pregnant, it’s gonna be a no for me, dawg. This man would've literally gotten her whatever she asked for in a blink of an eye if it meant that she paid him a millisecond of attention. This book contains a dirty-talking, morally grey hero, strong language, sexual content, and dark themes. His love language is giving gifts and it's just so precious to see how much attention he pays to her to know what she likes.Alexandra is a senator's daughter, used to mingling in the company of the rich and powerful, but tonight she will learn that there are men who play by different rules. Like the rest of us, Darla thinks she will never find her prince charming but along comes this Hades in human form and he changes her entire perspective. my only complaint is that i felt they had very less fluffy and wholesome scenes without the sexual aspect ( and i understand that some couples express their love through intimacy or sex) but im a girl who prefers both the sweet moments and the dark debauchery sex.
