As with the first book, I really love the way the story introduces children to difficult concepts such as exploitation, corruption and environmental damage without ever making them feel too heavy or scary.

Exciting action sequences and peril - it was so cinematic I could really picture it being played out on the big screen. Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first. Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do.Ajay’s wish has come true – he’s a news reporter for the paper he and his friends set up, The Mumbai Sun. Raises a number of different ethical and current issues in a way that was thought provoking but not heavy handed. Then again, isn’t this industry what unites them and gives them purpose in each of their individual ways? Ajay held up the faluda-pink paper in triumph (although sadly, no one else seemed to have noticed his amazing feat of skill and dexterity). Soon Ajay, Saif, Vinod, Yasmin and Jai are travelling to Jaipur, determined to find the meteor and win the prize. There was just the right amount of choice to suit everyone without being overwhelming and I received comments from parents and staff about the quality of books offered compared to previous sales which have always been based around current crazes and well known celebrity authors.I'm sure she will be reading it over and over again, maybe she'll let me read it with her next time!
