The Disruptor epitomizes the sidearm blaster; compact enough that it can be holstered but not so small that you cannot hold it comfortably, lightweight and easy to operate. They also allow us to test different behaviours and functionalities and measure and evaluate their suitability. The Disruptor’s mechanism is pretty much identical to the Strongarm, apart from a small change to the trigger. Lightweight, colourful, though rather large and bulky, it is not a weapon for creeping up on your adversary - more a 'High Noon' shoot out. With less paint detailing and less plastic, it would appear that the Disruptor is Nerf’s cheaper version of the Strongarm.
