Of course, Nars also have their cream blushes and their famous multiples, but today I'm just focusing on their powder creations. With a name like ‘sex appeal’ I challenge anyone not to want to at least see what this product is all about. It applies incredibly sheer, on my NC20 skin it gives me a very faint flush of colour, which by the end of the day is barely visible.

One of my favourite NARS products is their range of powder blushes, and I can never resist their beautiful blush palettes which they usually launch as part of their holiday collection. NARS Blushes have such lovely packaging, with their trademark rubberised plastic which some people hate as it’s a magnet for fingerprints but I love how sleek and protective the rubberised finish is. This icy, cool-toned pink shade gives cheeks a water-like sheen, thanks to being packed full of intense, silver glitter. I'm thinking this colour is especially meant to go with some of the metalic eyes and/or berry lips for this season.Spanning from subtle, easy to wear shades, through to full-on, acidic brights and deeper, darker hues, there is something to cater for everyone's taste. It was just as difficult to dupe as I expected but I did identify that it's definitely more peach in tone than pink and there's definitely been a peach resurgence of late so keep your eyes peeled. They are particularly well known for their blushes, and I am admittedly a bit obsessed with one day owning the entire NARS blush line. I tend to go through phases of going over the top and purchasing a few in one go and then having a dry spell, whilst I lust after another makeup item. I am extremely pale in the winter and this is pretty much the only blush which doesn't make me look like a clown.

The brick color on the left can be a bit too much on my fair skin, but with a light hand and a not so dense brush it gives me a nicely flushed look. Iconic shades include a range of translucent, natural tones, each with a subtle pink undertone for a natural-looking blush to highlight the complexion. The trick with this blush, is to blend, blend and blend some more and, as the texture is so smooth, it should look amazing.

About me NW20, N1, NARS Monte Blanc, YSL BR20, green eyes, blonde hair, very cool undertones for reference. The NARS Sex Appeal Blush is described as being a Soft Peach, but I would describe it as being a pale baby pink which is just beautiful, and it has a matte finish which is my favourite for blushes.

A range of iconic shades in matte, satin, and shimmering finishes—including cult-favorite peachy-pink Orgasm—create endless looks. It's so specific, a creamy, light pink/peach that looks like a whole load of nothing but gives the prettiest glow on paler complexions. A great option for those with a paler skin tone, but the darker your skin is, the less the pink colour will shine through.

I just recently started getting into blush as I have very fair skin and always thought blush made me look sun burnt. Formula wise, I haven't come across any other brand that produces blushes that come close to those from Nars.
