In comparison, my memory of the Ortofon 2M Red (on a different table, mind you) was of a rougher sound. The second one is a bit more flexible as it has 3 capacitance's to choose from where as the first one only has 2. After I got the alignment set right, I was impressed to hear only a minimal amount of sibilance at the end of a few older troublesome records I own.

I decided to purchase the Technics 52mm alignment tool to see if setting it up that way would rectify the issue but it did not.

High output is assured by using a powerful samarium cobalt magnet, making any standard MM phono input suitable for use with the Nagaoka MP110. Before the hype I didn't even know much about that brand Nagaoka, beides they make nice inner sleeves. I cant comment on the very low bass as my speakers are now Magnepans MG12 that can only go so much in the low bass . although i haven’t actually heard the Nag, i have been recommending them as others whom i trust have made quite positive remarks that convinced me that i would love one.

The MP-110 is a great upgrade option for a number of turntables with great results with the Rega Planar 1, Planar 2 and the Project debut carbon range. I personally think that you'll enjoy more the VM95ML than the MP-110, especially if your records' inner tracks have loud or complex passages and if you wish to get a clean presentation free of distortion. It's this universality that makes the MP110 a popular choice among vinyl enthusiasts of every stripe. A lot more important and consequential things are going on in music below the frequencies you are concerned about than above as well. The quality and shape of the stylus and the tolerances in the manufacturing process are of the utmost importance to ensure that the translation of the information in the grooves is perfect and no information is lost or added in the process. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. No, it doesn’t have captive nuts and so it was a little fiddly, but hey this stuff isn’t rocket science. There is so much information resting in those vinyl grooves and we want to help you retrieve as much of it as possible. It came with a Ortofon 2m red which in general sounded good but I did not like the inner groove distortion that I was hearing.

If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. i guess if you cant hear past 10k than its warm sounding compared to the 440mla (which it used to compared with in videos quite a bit years ago) which starts rising pretty early. By faithfully representing the depth and breadth of the original recording, it ensures a sound quality that is warm, rich, and impressively lifelike. I am privileged to be the owner of a Technics SL-1200MK2 that I bought used from the original owner.the Nagaoka MP-110, floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee~Muhammad Ali, has risen to the occasion, making itself right at home in my new and, shall we say, better system. OP didn't give a lot of background info, and I gave my "from the hip" opinion like everyone else to start with.
