About this deal

They feel more expensive than they are with a paper hat, two decent jokes inside and some Christmas stickers that kids will love. The crown is a bit rubbish but the prizes make up for it, giving the posher crackers a run for their money. Some of the trinkets are on disappointing, especially the bookmark which looked made from a piece of a cut-up cereal packet. They included a tape measure, cookie cutter, pencils, marbles, nail clippers and the obligatory metal puzzle, (which I’m not sure anybody actually does).

There’s a Belgium chocolate mini penguin or snowman inside each cracker and they are gluten free, but don’t bother looking for a hat, joke or even a snap. They look special, go with a bang and offer gifts ranging from a mini mirror to a silver-coloured mini notebook. And then, if you've got little kids, they're not going to want to wait whilst you pop out all the counters.
