Made from a blend of aged Irish malted and grain whiskeys, it has been matured in bourbon barrels for over two decades. The newest release from the annual Midleton Very Rare vintage release series dating all the way back to 1984 where the master distiller hand selects and meticulously blends some of the oldest Irish whiskies. Since 1984, each Master Distiller of Midleton Very Rare uses their eye for detail, their passion for quality whiskey and their exemplary skill to create the pinnacle of Irish whiskey.Heralding the 37th edition of the world renowned vintage release, Brian Nation - in his final days as Master Distiller, continued the long-standing tradition of hand-selecting whiskeys reserved for this coveted annual expression from Midleton Distil.
