About this deal
Charlotte Brontë lists the names of the Twelves as: Marcus O’Donell, Ferdinand Cortez, Felix de Rothsay, Eugene Cameron, Harold Fitzgeorge, Henry Clinton, Francis Stewart, Ronald Traquair, Ernest Fortescue, Gustavus Dunally, Frederick Brunswick, and Arthur Wellesley.
The font used is almost script like, giving the words the feeling that they could have been handwritten by the actual Brontës.However, this isn’t the case in the graphic novel version of Charlotte Brontë’s Glass Town, reimagined by Isabel Greenberg. Charlotte's "predilection for romantic settings, passionate relationships, and high society is at odds with Branwell's obsession with battles and politics and her young sisters' homely North Country realism, none the less at this stage there is still a sense of the writings as a family enterprise". It is in response to this loss that the four remaining Brontë children set pen to paper and created the fictional world that became known as Glass Town.
Those who appreciate historical fiction and classic literature will be engrossed by this reimagining of the childhoods of these literary luminaries.
