About this deal

Dynax-S50 will provide excellent protection at a wide-range of film thickness - aim to achieve a uniform dry-film thickness of around 50 microns. dynax S-50 has been proven to provide outstanding salt-spray protection and continuing protection in changing conditions with no swelling or detachment whatsoever. A coating of Dynax in wheel arches should easily see you well into Spring and in concealed sections, should last 5 years.

Starting to spray the product, it's like a thick brown solution that clings to all surfaces, it's quite thick and none of it ran away, it just stuck to the surface which was ideal. I literally filled the heater channels on my beetle with Waxoyl when I finished it in 1994 and they are still good 20 years on, despite being repro panels. Dynax S50 is primarily a cavity rustproofing compound but is also able to prevent corrosion in a multitude of mud traps and water collecting voids. The advanced metal seeking anti-corrosion molecules which form dynax S50 are able to displace water, so even damp surfaces can be protected, these same molecules arrest and prevent corrosion even on already rusty surfaces and provide remarkable self-healing abilities if the film is damaged. The tolerance of the material to maintain protection at very low film thickness makes Dynax-S50 the ideal choice where surface inspection is not easy or where uniform coatings are simply not possible.Dynax-S50s soft-film is optimised for enclosed cavities where extremely corrosive conditions develop. I enjoy reading what you guys get up to, because you're so passionate about this, you are keen to do new stuff and above all, you share with each other what you do. Use a New Technology product that is flexible and stretches and one that can creep into weld seams, screw threads etc.

When I last did undersealing I went a bit OTT, firstly I sanded/removed as much rust as I could, then applied bilt hamber 'deox gel'. We minimize on solvents which are used to carry other waxes into seams, and instead rely on something I have heard referred to as capilliary osmosis, or at least that's what it sounded like! Its a modern bike, a Yamaha, these bikes tend to corode like a bugger, my dad looks after it extremely well, but found a covered section that was a little coroded, so this should be a good product for him. The capillary nature of Dynax though, means that it does heal itself and even if unnoticed, the breached area will reseal.A mixture of degreaser and solvents though, followed by hammering it with the pw should get it off, although in all honesty, I've never done it.
