About this deal

Some say that you put the food in with the poop and the worms will always go for the nice food, and some people say it is okay to mix it. Other wise I have these mini dry bags that I use though again puvc lining on nylon, hoever, around 20 years old now and may as well use them a chuck them. It's good to have a hole large enough to allow the dog waste to fall into the vessel without the need of a push-stick. The other newer heartworm preventatives are another matter, but I do not know of any universities that are looking into this. The two biggest worries about composting dog poop are generally the smell and the risk of parasites and germs.

The below steps are based on our own experience at home when we first setup our composter in the garden (in the background you'll see our chickens if you look hard enough! A thermometer will help you to ensure that the mixture is an appropriate temperature - look for 135° -160° Fahrenheit.

The part above ground is tall so you don’t have to bend over to place the pet waste into the composter. However, they’re sensitive to harsh winters, and keeping your worm population happy and productive during this season […] Read more. They pointed out that the more worms that you have in the wormery the quicker that the dog poo or kitchen scraps are digested. We know that it can alienate dog owners from their community and costs an enormous amount of time and resource to dispose of safely, so what can be done about it and are there ways of making the disposal easier and less environmentally damaging? When the bin reaches capacity, cover the top with soil, then pull out the bucket and replace elsewhere. If smell is an issue or you want it to break down faster then it could be an idea :) I know it designed for cats and dogs so I would say, skip the green thing but get the bran.
