I havn’t personally driven the NC500, but I have a clearer Idea of what awaits thanks to this painstakingly assembled book. I live in Scotland and appreciate what a wee bit of earthly treasure we have to appreciate and protect for future generations . Would highly recommend not only to people thinking about going, but also those that live Scotland and want to know more about what there is to do there. We had a minor glitch when we received the book which was solved without any questions asked and in record time. A comprehensive NC500 guide with stunning photography of so many hidden gems that we can wait to explore. He’s not one for reading books, but he absolutely loves this one with all the stunning photographs, places to visit along the way, and all the useful tips and information. Don’t get caught out on your trip to Scotland’s northern coast and get prepared for your adventure with this book!

As someone who is planning to travel this route (amongst others in the glorious highlands) it is an ideal ‘ taster’ of things to come. We have over the years visited many parts of Scotland and experienced all weathers, even trout and salmon fishing on North Uist in a Force 7 in a boat – must have been mad as we broke the oar and had to drift to shore and walk back to the car. In-depth, relatable, and picturesque: Destination NC500 guidebook is 220 pages of the most in-depth, relatable, and picturesque guidebook on the market. Only just started to read it but can’t put it down, fabulous book full of everything that you need to know about NC500.

A refreshing approach to touring much like our own where they go off an explore beaches and places encountered along the NC 500. Superb photography which I appreciate as it is a hobby of mine and one reason I bought your book as well as having lists of various aspects of a trip my hubby Simon and myself hope to make later this year or next once I have retired. Really informative and helpful guide book that we are looking forward to using next year when we do the NC500.

We have previously done the NC500 in our car wild camping but will be headed back in our motorhome, so the road trip essentials for each location in the guide including water points and waste disposal is going to be so so helpful. Your book is a revelation so much information and interesting bits too read about campsites hotels and places to eat and places to see.
