The iO-6 are a couple of headband headphones that were first purchasable in 2019 and produced by DALI. Backed by both the drums and his emotive bluesy vocal in the midrange, the keys shift up into a sparkling and delicate treble alongside a distinguished and detailed high hat. The result is a design with the right amount of adjustability required to provide a natural fit to anyone. The focus is on honest sound reproduction, behind which functionality consciously takes a back seat.

In the midrange, the drivers provide high realism and tangible clarity in vocals and acoustic instruments, while rock music and distorted guitars in particular are imparted with the necessary midrange impact. Removing the background noise helps you to relax and enjoy your favourite music whether it be at home or on the go. Just plug in the included Mini Jack cable, and let your audio device run the DALI IO-6 in "Off" mode. It was a big surprise for us to discover that within the headphone industry, drivers are often considered as cheap commodity components, with no real engineering attention paid to them.The DALI IO-6 offers three different ANC modes that enable you to choose how much of the surrounding noise, you want to cancel out: ANC ON, ANC OFF and Transparency mode. That’s how I felt when Dali, the venerable Danish speaker manufacturer, offered to let me try its new IO-6 headphones. The controls are super easy to use, and while some headphone manufacturers include visual cues as to what the buttons are for, we much prefer the approach DALI has taken. The headphones are relatively lightweight too, and that helps ensure that the headphones remain comfortable over longer periods of time. Over the years, I've heard many high end systems where the hi hat is just gone, disappeared from the mix as if it doesn't exist, or its just way too faint that you need to really pump up the volume just to hear it - but then everything else gets unbearably loud.

They might initially sound slightly lean, but listen a little longer and you’ll realise there actually very cannily balanced. Dali is claiming a frequency response of 10Hz (preposterously, earth-movingly low) to 20kHz (approaching a dog-whistle) – so full-range performance would seem to be available.

This is important because as these are natural sounding headphones from what I have experienced so far, I don't want to take away from them and also don't want to push them too much into sounding something it's not meant to be. The battery level is also indicated visually by two multi-colour LED indicators on the right ear cup. Before I go into it, I have a background in Audio - a music technology degree, experience working in some studio's, composing music and also play a variety of instruments. I just recently decided to take the plunge into the world of headphone audio, and after reading many reviews on here and around the internet - I purchased the Dali IO6 wireless headphones. Generally, television purchases of 50" and below will be transported via TNT, although there may be some exceptions.

This should be more than enough for even the longes of long-haul travel, and for weeks of use under normal use. The Sony's are similar to the Dali's in that way, but you have a bag over your head making everything muddled.
