I did have to press a little longer to get the edges all the way around but other than that I don’t feel like the larger size was that big of a deal. Selected lines only, determined by size, weight or whether delivered direct from one of our suppliers.

The app shows you step-by-step instructions as it guides you from pre-press preparation to final peel. With your hat blank and flexible ruler it’s much easier to get an idea of what size you want your design and how it will look once applied. Hats like bucket hats or sun hats may not have a sweatband – in that case you don’t need to worry about flipping those out.

I’ve also been thinking that the Hat Press and form would be AWESOME for adding designs to sleeves and can’t wait to try that. With this one, the design was actually longer and I tried to leave it in one piece and it did not work at all. I do think it helps you dial in the time and temperature and it helped me be successful with the majority of the projects the first time.
