About this deal

I have laid a few bricks over the years but would never consider myself a professional by any standard. But, try and overcharge us for a simple job and not only do you diminish your value and standing in our eyes, we'll simply try DIY instead. B rick have been around for thousands of years , it’s one of the only truly tried and tested materials known to man.

Any winning bidders that fail to pay by midnight on the day of the auction finishing will be banned from making any future bids or purchases on Jobalots. By creating an account and/or placing a bid through Jobalots, you agree to have your registered payment card debited in the event of payment not being received within the advised payment period. I may not be fast but the finish looks good as though it has been done professionally, so I am happy to continue. Bricks alter in depth and length, bricks with a bed have to work to 75mm, two course 150mm,3= 225mm if a bricklayer has a brick that is 63mm he will make the bed 13 mm to make it up to 75mm.Read more about the condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). This Bricky Tool - in my opinion - is fantastic and is extraordinarily helpful in building consistent sized mortar beds. I'm also surprised that some of those same brickies display such a clear level of misunderstanding about the Bricky tool itself.

The finish was excellent, but (as a complete novice at the time) it took me two days to complete it in line with my high standards. Seems that the Irishman who designed it allowed for the horizontal bed of mortar to be compressed from 12mm to 10mm and the vertical perp from 11. Any winning bidders that fail to pay by midnight CET on the day of the auction finishing will be banned from making any future bids or purchases on Jobalots. You'll also quickly develop and eye for those bricks that are dimensionally off and leave them out of your current build. You would spend 7 times the cost of the tool, for a proper bricky for a day, so to make it pay, you would have to lay 300+ bricks a day, for 3 days.

It was a bit tricky but that was because the Bricky is designed to be used on metric bricks/blocks, mine were used imperial bricks. pal nah not that f idiot more like, tell you what go learn how to collect trollys cause thats all that fits for yer ! The metal guides are very sharpe so be aware, tricky to get over so started onto the bricks, especially when making a cavity wall. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. I used it in Australia with a brick width of 90 and found it a bit difficult to use as it has been designed for a brick size of 110mm.

Building an extension on the existing extension, but this time thought we might save some money by re-using the existing bricks and doing all the work myself!I'd be gob smacked if a pro turned up with a Bricky Pro as any brick layer should be able to work just as neatly and faster freehand. It is compact, but has a large cutting capacity and that combination makes this a very popular choice for those in the industry.
