About this deal

Warhammer fans have clamoured for Primaris assault troops carried aloft on jump packs since the dawn of the Dark Imperium, and now they’re finally here.

For each 1, one model equipped with a Hazardous weapon is destroyed ( CHARACTERS, MONSTERS and VEHICLES suffer 3 mortal wounds instead). The back of the Space Marine Assault Intercessors + Paint Set shows you how to build and paint the miniatures. WHEN: Battle-shock step of your Command phase, just before you take a Battle-shock test for a unit from your army. Aside from a pallet, a glass of water or two and some snips/hobby knife to cut out and clean the pieces, everything you need to get started is included. If a Battle-shocked unit is selected to Fall Back, take a Desperate Escape test for every model in that unit.

Sergeants may carry a power weapon or power fist into the fray, making them a threat to heavier armour while their comrades bury the enemy under a storm of chainsword cuts.Hell, the Carcharodons still use tactical squads with CCWs and the 4th ed space marine codex gave you that option as well.

EFFECT: Until the end of the phase, each time a model in your unit makes a ranged attack that targets a MONSTER or VEHICLE unit, you can re-roll the Wound roll. The Codex Astartes has proven its worth as a superb treatise on warfare over countless battlefields, and has remained so even after ten thousand years. Unlike damage inflicted by normal attacks, excess damage from mortal wounds is not lost if the damage can be allocated to another model. I had mentioned hopes for a separation between Astartes and other Imperium weapons sharing the same name in the long running Primaris thread. Each model in that unit can then make an Advance move by moving a distance in inches less than or equal to this total, but no model can be moved within Engagement Range of enemy models.

To determine a player’s Level of Control over an objective marker, add together the OC characteristics of all the models from that player’s army that are within range of that objective marker.

Except, Reivers actually have tools to do melee work, namely masks and grenades helping them to get into melee and cause extra casualties, plus movement options helping with positioning. The very fact of making their similarity reivers is probably the first real reason GW have had to give rules to chain swords. Rushing headlong into battle, spitting hot death with heavy bolt pistols and wielding brutal chainswords, Assault Intercessors excel in taking the fight to the enemy. Between Mobility (advance and charge, Lightning Debarkation, Fierce Rivalries), hitting power (Devastating Charge), the ability to retreat and charge to re-trigger charge abilities, and character interactions (Kor'sarro Khan's +1 to wound bubble) they have more buffs to arbitrary melee units than some armies have special rules at all.There is also the fact that they will be (presumably) a Troops choice rather than Elites, as Reivers are, which means one will be able to actually run a primarily melee Primaris army. TARGET: One INFANTRY unit from your army that was selected as the target of one or more of the attacking unit’s attacks. TARGET: One unit from your army that is within 6" of that enemy unit and would be eligible to declare a charge against that enemy unit if it were your Charge phase.
