About this deal

This is a smell from a time when men were tough, brave, strong, courageous, responsible but also loving fathers. But I could also immediately link this backwards in time to Chant's beautiful 1959 green leather fragrance for women for Gres, Cabochard, which is also like Chant's later Azurée. The smell is still amazing and today I have another 20 fragrances from the same house and Aramis never disappoints! I mentioned in my first review that it didn't last long on my skin but with newer formulations I just have to spray a bit more. remark: The body odour note in Aramis is the smell of a gentleman's armpits who has been exercising for a while and possibly even hasn't showered for a few days; It has that almost metallic sharpness that accompanies the scent of a pair of sweaty underarms; It can be surprising, but also sensual, in the way that smelling the body odour of someone you're attracted to, can be both repellent and erotic;).

Aramis is a woody fragrance that was launched in 1965, the scent opens with top notes of Bergamot oil, Artemesia, Gardenia, Galbanum and Cumin. Aramis is its own scent and if you didn't know its past strength-this one will be strong enough for you-even though the eau de toilette is still far superior to most of today's designers.Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Español, Français, Čeština, Italiano, Русский, Polski, Português, Ελληνικά, 汉语, Nederlands, Srpski, Română, العربية, Українська, Монгол, עברית. I'm exhausted by the comparisons to human male machismo, this is scent is more than some fantasy archetypical male. The modern Aramis turns that equation somewhat upside down, featuring a much more prominent aldehyde, backed with some florals and not as much herbaceousness as compared with the vintage. Named after a character in Alexandre Dumas' classic "The Three Musketeers", this perfume caused a sensation at the time and continues to attract new followers with each generation.

I saw a review saying how much they'd love to have more women wear it, just to collapse that gendered labelling behind 'potions' such as this: potion is such an apt word to use to describe this, isn't it? I never fully appreciated the stuff in my youth, but looking back, wow, did they ever hit that one out of the park!Well, this scent stays much less active to the point that you can't even smell it after 3-4 hours without smelling it directly on the spot. but with Aramis you know you are going to get both longevity and projection which is a trademark of the house.
