About this deal

Before going to extreme, try taking the charging cable and plugging it in to the usb port and the other end into the charge port essentially looping itseld, leave it plugged in for 10 seconds. Mobile phone charging products include chargers, wireless chargers, power banks, and charging cables, and these accessories can also be used for other consumer electronics devices.

I’ve recently upgraded my power bank to this Anker PowerCore 20100 as it can give up to 6 fully chargers to my phone. the unit takes bloody forever to charge up itself, but even at a 1/4 or 1/2 charge, it’ll still do the job for 2 or 3 charges….

There is a limit on the size of lithium-ion batteries that can be taken on a plane without scrutiny, so to save the hassle I went with an acceptable battery capacity. I was excited when Apple introduced their low power mode, but I’ve mostly found it useless as it manages to save very little power. Also note that there are three different iPad wall chargers (going solely by memory here): one is 5 watts/1A (iPad mini 1st gen and included with most, if not all iPhones as well) one is 10 watts/2.

We've ended up investing in the Anker Powercore 20100 which we'll review here and the Anker Powerbank 325. To verify the issue further, could you please kindly try recharging the PowerCore + 20100 USB-C via another 5V/2A or 5V/2. Also it is not pointless to keep your batterypack charging if you choose to continue to use this wall plug, had you left it to charge the batterypack no doubt would have fully charged but you interrupted it by unplugging it.I know it’s like 10 months later but I figured I’d throw my 2 cents in since it’s a direct reflection of my life. I would try to use a different cable and charge the unit up as it could be an issue with the cable itself preventing a proper charge.

There's not much else to know about this charger as it doesn't really have any exciting extra features. If you haven’t gotten a phone power bank charger or your like me and wanting to upgrade to a more powerful power bank, I wouldn’t highly recommend this Anker Powercore 20100 without a shadow of a doubt. Please kindly be noted that the PowerCore + 20100 USB-C usually takes 8-9 hours for a full recharge via a 5V/2. Therefore, if you can only charge the battery for a few hours at a time, that is OK as it keeps the electrons moving in the battery. Recharges itself in 10 hours with a 2 amp charger, phone chargers (generally 1 amp) may take up to 20 hours. There should be no problem to recharge it via an iPad wall charger(which offers 5V/2A output) with the A-C cable comes with our battery. Compatible with most USB-charged devices, including iPhone 8 / X / XS / XS Max / XR (Lightning cable required), Android smartphones and tablets (including the Nexus 7), and iPads. It doesn’t make it or break it nor does it affect the performance of the charger it’s just a personal preference for me. We ran our iPhone X down to dry and plugged in the phone and found it took two hours and 15 minutes to charge up our handset.
