Published in 1968, A Necklace of Raindrops was the first of several wonderful collaborations between Jan and Joan Aiken - and it was also the very first book Jan illustrated. Three scarce first edition hardback copies of the much-loved witch and her cat, Meg and Mog, created by Helen Nicoll and Jan Pienkowski. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins.The illustrations on the double spreads are colourful, bold and humorous and will appeal to toddlers who will enjoy the board book version. We havwe been receiving our storybook subscription for around 18 months and I can't see us stopping anytime soon. The books are wonderful, interactive in a variety of ways, are inclusive/diverse with a variety of subjects.
