About this deal

I was expecting to make this a winter scent, and although the sweetness is a tad thick, it retains this beautiful airy quality to it! First spray is not something i like, it's really strong and smells cheap, BUT you have to give it a time. It is made of high quality materials and is perfect for special occasions and It would make a perfect gift for someone special.

Now it’s patchouli’s turn to lead the race; very earthy and sweetish, so you have to like patchouli too to appreciate the fragrance. I can detect a heavy note in them, it reminds me of the fuel used in the railways, at first it's very prominent for 10 minutes, then it becomes barely noticeable but it's always there. If you like strong, dark, woodsy with a slight (SLIGHT) hint of sweetness and are not headache prone this would be good. How can middle eastern women pull this off in their hot climate country, their scent bubble must be bold , strong and too much.O. It is one of my top five scents of all time, and I am one of those people who has a fragrance problem, iykyk. You can see from my wardrobe that I'm a lover of Arabian Scents, and have many more that aren't on Fragrantica, so when I say it's revolting, I am calibrating with Western and Eastern scents.

I actually like this but my three year old said I needed to consider changing my diaper when I wore it around him.overall its worth a try if you can find it but for me theirs a woody/hairspray note/smell in it that puts me off, could be cedar used in it or the combination of cedar/sage. The rose and the saffron mix are heavenly and the sweetness from the caramel blends beautifully with the patchouli and oudh. Edit: ok so… after 2 weeks this is finally strong and yummy and honestly rounder and more solid than Maahir Gold.

Overall this is a good addition to lattafas line, its very different to the Raghba range so adds another string to Lattafas bow. The base ensures sensual softness with vanilla flavours, which is blended with precious woody chords, amber and ambroxan, which ensures longevity and warmth of the fragrance. Not a strong fragrance, but fairly long lasting, and to me the quality (while not the highest) is perfectly reasonable.

But it's strange that two perfumes have the same main notes and structure yet people love one and "don't love much" the other! Bottom line, if you have Shaghef Oud and love it, you will probably want Sheikh Al Shuyuk in your collection as the airier version If you have these 2, you don't need Oud Vanille as there is too much overlap.
