About this deal

Philippines-based illustrator Kerby Rosanes works mainly with ink, fineliners and markers to illustrate his “doodle” world. Featuring amazing artwork from talented illustrator Kerby Rosanes, Imagimorphia: 20 Posters to Colour is the perfect way to display incredible colouring creations. That is good and a great improvement since the last book but there are some more subtle differences in the publishing that still makes me prefer the UK version. The book is formatted exactly the same as Animorphia, with great paper quality that takes waterbased markers without bleed. in Imagimorphia, each page has a different theme from castles, steam trains and skulls to Steampunk-inspired flying ships and crazy robots.

At Books2Door, we believe that reading is a fundamental skill that every child should have to help improve their vocabulary, grammar, and critical thinking skills.I'm certainly a fan of Animorphia but did find it tedious at times that all of the images were animals, all with the same little alien doodles. I have had my copy for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it lives up to and surpasses the quality and content of its predecessor.

Philippines-based illustrator Kerby Rosanes has turned his stunningly detailed and fantastical artwork into a worldwide publishing phenomenon. So, the designs are great, as expected, but what about the publishing quality of the US published book? Kerby's unique and ground-breaking black-and-white-line style lends the book wide cross-over appeal and will attract fans of all ages. Most of you will have seen the picture I coloured from this book on my Marco Raffine pencil review, but here it is again in case you missed it. I'd purchased both as gifts for others (guys in their 20s) and imagimorphia so enjoyable that this 50 year old may just get one for herself!

Hopefully the illustrator focuses on the awe-inspiring art work in the future instead of giving others "what to do" instructions. Imagimorphia is packed full of intricate images of stunning creatures and landscapes morphing and shapeshifting into Kerby's signature, breathtaking scenes. The world that he imagines will excite and transport drawers, as he brings this beautiful fantasyscape and its creatures to life. Working mainly with ordinary black pens, Kerby's art is characterized by whimsical lines, patterns and doodle creatures which are combined to create awe-inspiring compositions.
