In my opinion, this isn’t that useful because the ice cream will still start to melt to some extent if left for anywhere near 10 minutes. We decanted the ice cream and let it freeze overnight where we found no change; the ice cream was just as deliciously creamy as before. Best eat it as soon as it's made because if you put it in the freezer - like all home made ice cream - it will be too solid to serve easily when you take it out. I gave it twice the time it said incase the warm weather was causing issues but it did not appear to have any coolant in.
