Alluding to the Beast Wars episode " Possession", Starscream is partnered with Waspinator, who can transform into a wasp, a robot with 3 mm-compatible hands, and a gun with 5mm handle. Early specimens of the toy released in Asia and at United States retail feature an unpainted gray-plastic helmet, a comparatively rare variant. This version of Starscream is the harder to find of the two, but was used as the basis for all subsequent redecos and retools.
