It frustrates me that alcohol gets a total pass in our society when other drugs, particularly marijuana, doesn't. One explanation is that business interests have more influence on government in the US than in Europe. Our priority should be to teach teens who start drinking how to be safe in the shortterm, and how to protect their health in the longterm.
