D'usse VSOP Cognac is masterfully crafted at the prestigious Château de Cognac, one of the oldest Cognac houses in France. Courvoisier Rosé is a great blend of cognac and premium French red wine, and identical in colour to rosé wine. The perfect balance of intense flavours have been patiently evolved and nurtured for at least two decades. On the nose, D'USSÉ VSOP reveals a powerful bouquet, rich in woody notes to which are added touches of cinnamon and floral notes.The new drink boasts a wide range of flavours: notes of blackberry, black currant, and a touch of cherry are complemented by vanilla, honey, and vine-peach flavours. This exceptional spirit is aged for a minimum of four and a half years in French oak barrels, resulting in a rich and complex profile with notes of wood, spice, and fruit. There are two cognacs in the D’USSÉ range, a VSOP Cognac aged for at least four and a half years and an XO Cognac aged for a minimum of ten years. The Château's proximity to the River Charente results in two climates within it's walls: a humid cellar that results in fruity, floral notes, an da dry cellar that brings out the wooody, spicy flavors of the cognac. Although this makes for rather rough sipping, when mixed with sweeteners and juices, that brusque profile becomes an asset for balancing out those ingredients.
