About this deal

As a movie I recommend this for the whole, family, and actually feel the audience appeal is greater than it was for Cars, although this is more targeted towards males.

Producers Guild Awards Name The Artist Motion Picture of Year; Boardwalk Empire Scores TV Drama (Winners List)". Let's hope that the extra year benefits Bear, which in the spirit of Tangled has since been retitled Brave, when it opens in June.

I guess you could argue that 'Cars 2' is an homage to James Bond films, but I don't see that as reason enough to have made it. Emily Mortimer as Holley Shiftwell, a young British desk agent, new to field work who is Finn's assistant. Well I need not have worried, my daughter was really thrilled by this film, and loved the new character Finn.

Would packaged media sales be struggling so if no fewer than three DVD successor formats were introduced within a few years of the typical person making the jump to DVD? In his fast-paced life he has little time for anything or anyone, but who needs friends when you've got a stadium full of fans. com - "Cars 2" might be a better James Bond film than five or six of the actual Bond films, and the fact that its hero is a bucktoothed, redneck tow truck without a hood does nothing to detract from its (admittedly modest) appeal.Justin Chang of Variety commented, "The rare sequel that not only improves on but retroactively justifies its predecessor. Lasseter and the whole Pixar team describe in detail the amount of effort that goes into making any of their films, including the 'Cars' movies, I don't get a whiff of cynicism. What looks like hundreds of thousands of individually rendered blades of grass blowing in the wind, some sweepingly panoramic shots of car-ified cities that often look photorealistic, the spectacular water effects in the spy sequence that opens the movie. The film's story was conceived by Lasseter while he was traveling around the world promoting the first film.

Cars 2 has high-speed chases, a couple of breakneck motor races, a kung-fu fighting sportscar, and a tow truck with a couple of Gatling guns strapped onto him. Also included is "Air Mater", a Mater's Tall Tales-flavored short about Mater taking a flight school up on their guarantee that they can teach anyone how to fly. The 1-disc DVD and 2-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo pack releases include the shorts "Air Mater" and "Hawaiian Vacation", plus the Director John Lasseter Commentary. What really sets Cars 2 apart from everything else with Pixar's name stamped on it is that this isn't a family film.
