About this deal

After the USA entered the War in 1941, Agfa lost Ansco which began its own film production afterwards.

For starters both this Agfaphoto and H35 have a lifespan measured likely in the 1,000s if not more shots. AGFA (abbreviation for Aktien-Gesellschaft für Anilin-Fabrikation) was a major producer of cameras, accessories, film and photographic chemicals, founded in Berlin, Germany in 1867. As part of the merger, Agfa obtained the Rietzschel camera works in Munich from Bayer, and badged all Rietzschel products with its Agfa rhombus. Funnily I was remined when looking on the bay you can pick up excellent vintage Japanese half frames. The only differences on inspection is the viewfinder and the change in the film frame of the Half frame in (bottom) compared to the full frame version (top).Notably Lomography produce a few models notably the LC-A wide and Diana Mini that offer it as an option. Agfa introduced its modern color negative still photography film and paper in 1942 as base of the Agfacolor films and papers that became competitors for Kodacolor after the war.

The camera is compatible with both colour and black and white 35mm films of various ISO speeds - ISO 200, ISO 400 and ISO 800. Both camera bar viewfinder window and logoing are identical externally even down to the battery compartment. So, whether you are using a Reusable or Disposable here are some tips to get the best images out of them: How To Get The Best From Your Reusable Film Camera.

Agfaphoto 35mm reusable film point-and-shoot camera is a great choice for anyone looking for a great quality, low-cost film camera. In 1968 Agfa introduced its red sensor point, a round membrane made of red foil and framed with a metal ring. In 1908 it launched a less flammable security cine film, and in 1910 it opened its big film factory Agfa Wolfen in Wolfen (then in Middle Germany), then the second largest film factory in the world - Kodak in Rochester remained the biggest. The company have published a lot of specification on line and in the box but some of that is misleading and just wrong. Suitable for ISO200/400/800 35mm films and has a 31mm f9 Focus Free Lens with a 1/120s fixed shutter speed.
