This year marks the 35th anniversary of Akai Pro’s legendary MPC system, and to celebrate, the company have announced the release of the MPC X Special Edition, the latest version of their flagship model which they say represents the most powerful MPC ever. MPC X SE features unrivaled standalone performance with the most internal storage, the most memory, and most hardware controls for the demanding music-makers of today. MPC is regarded today as the most influential sampling drum machine ever created embedding itself into the history of music.
