About this deal

She’s sharp and I felt like she tried really hard to walk that balance between interfering when necessary and letting Liv make her own life choices. Like I said, Liv and Theo were not great as actual characters, but they're too boring to talk about, so let's move on. I really didn’t like that he filmed her without her permission and ignored her when she asked him to stop.

Not only was Dax going to Stanford, but half his family had gone there too, and his older cousin Amelia worked in the admissions office. As someone who didn't know their father until I was 13 and who also feels like a troll after any flight. I loved the culture and all the mentions of Greek food; my husband is Greek so I loved reading about things that I’ve come to learn over the years. Even so, she can't help but be charmed by everything Santorini has to offer—the beautiful sunsets, the turquoise water, the sun-drenched villages, and the delicious cuisine.Liv, your boyfriend sucks and you are too young to attach yourself and your life choices to one person like that, young lady! There was a tiny little shelf and I remember noticing that half of the books were about cheerleaders. However, as the summer progresses and Liv takes a more active role in the documentary, she slowly starts to get to know her father and comes to love Santorini and its welcoming community.

There's very little content of concern, but at over 500 pages it's best for strongly independent readers who can handle the theme of parental abandonment. Not only does Dax hate running alone, but last night he also accompanied me to an art exhibit in downtown Seattle that was all about the history of the Polaroid. The first person Liv meets in Greece is Theo, her father’s cinametographer/general production dude, who is tasked with picking her up from the airport. So when Liv suddenly receives a postcard from her father explaining that National Geographic is funding a documentary about his theories on Atlantis—and will she fly out to Greece and help? I had some issues with connecting to the story and the main character which I think is why it felt too long for me.Liv Varanakis doesn’t like to thi

As they say themselves, they see themselves as social outcasts at school, which is only amplified by everyone ignoring them and the occasional jerk bullying them. You don’t have to read the other ones to understand this book; they’re all more connected by the theme of the protagonists finding themselves and love in a European country. She knows she won't be happy following him around for much longer, but lacks the inner strength and confidence to be honest about her feelings. If this book focused more on Nico and Olive finding each other, getting to know each other while being in Santorini, I bet that I would have given this book a 4 stars.Liv had an amazing family, a wonderful mother, an interesting boyfriend, and a charming- albeit nosy Theo.
