I sometimes hear people say that this smells generic, but to my nose theres something really different from other fresh florals and I can't quite put my finger on it. On the skin, Éclat d'Arpège has a floral and green output, to the point of making me think of lily of the valley. Once it dries down it stays fairly linear throughout and has a moderate silage depending on how much you spray.

Created with notes of peach, neroli, bergamot, vanilla and vetiver, it’s a floral yet woody fragrance. I wanted something perfect for a bride, not too sweet, not too fresh, not to strong, not too weak, a scent that makes me feel beautiful and innocent, but strong enough to make a statement .

It touch’s your nose gently like you’ve walked by a bush of flower(lilacs ) and wonder where the scent is coming from trying to follow your nose to the source to figure out what flower it is.

Hard to pick up individual notes which is what I absolutely love in perfumes - it makes them smell mystical and divine. The other notes aren't hidden; I sense lilac, cedar, and a touch of amber fighting for center stage. On my wrists I could still smell it after two days and on clothes, I can still smell it after a week. Its easy, fresh and elegant, perfect for daily wear but despite the fact that, on me at least, it is linear, it isnt a boring "beige" type of scent nor is it a Plain Jane, the tea keeps it peppy and bright even after a full days worth of wear.
